THE POWER OF THOUGHTS: MANIFESTING WITH AWARENESS
There was a time when I longed for a year of rest. In my 12th grade, I was exhausted- physically, mentally, and emotionally. Carrying a heavy school bag, socializing, pretending to be happy when I felt hollow inside, it all drained me. I wished for an extended holiday, a break where I could just rest, away from the chaos, without having to travel anywhere or meet anyone. And then, my wish came true but not in the way I expected. On the last day of my exams, the world changed. COVID-19 was announced, and everything went into lockdown. Schools and colleges shut down, and life transitioned online. While it seemed like the perfect pause at first, reality soon hit me. Getting into college without contacts or influence was tough. The online admission process was overwhelming, and the isolation that followed was even harder. What I thought was a blessing. A long break turned into an unexpected challenge. For one and a half years, I attended college through a screen, unable to meet new friends or experience the real-world adventures of student life. Initially, I embraced the stillness, thinking this was exactly what I needed. But soon, I realized I had been mistaken. I didn't need a long break. I needed a little rest and a lot of fun. I needed adventure, challenges, and growth. Staying in my comfort zone wasn’t fulfilling but it was suffocating. I craved movement, new experiences, and the thrill of stepping outside my bubble. In those months of isolation, I learned the power of self- acceptance. I faced my insecurities head-on, confronted my fears, and worked on transforming myself. In six months, I evolved into a stronger version of myself, but the prolonged stillness also took a mental toll. I had wished for something, and the universe delivered- but it came with lessons I never saw coming.
This experience taught me something profound: Be mindful of what you wish for, because the universe listens. Our thoughts are powerful, and what we manifest can shape our reality. But it’s not just about wishing- it’s about understanding what we truly need. I wished for rest, but what I truly needed was balance. I wanted time off, but what I truly craved was meaningful engagement. Now, I believe in thinking and acting positively. I’ve learned to pray not just for myself but for others too, to see things from different perspectives, and to embrace life’s challenges rather than escaping them. Manifestation works, but clarity matters. What we ask for should align with our true needs, not just temporary emotions. So, the next time you make a wish, think deeply. Are you asking for what you truly need? Or just what feels easy in the moment?
LIFE HAS A WAY OF TEACHING US, SOMETIMES IN UNEXPECTED WAYS. EMBRACE THE LESSONS, GROW FROM THEM, AND ALWAYS MANIFEST WITH AWARENESS !!
